Be Dramatic!
Theatre can be described as "art in action." In this class, we will get directly involved in the dramatic process. Students will have a chance to learn a bit about the skills an actor needs. We will participate in theatre games in which we build teamwork, cooperation, and mutual respect, and then look at some specific skills, including vocal work, pantomime, improvisation, and short sketch acting. Theatre gives students a chance to get away from typical book learning and experience hands-on learning, all while having fun and being creative.
