STUDENT OF THE MONTH
RYDER PICKERING has been named the student of the month for OCTOBER. Ryder works very hard in all aspects of theatre, but his strongest trait is in his observational skills. Ryder is very good at watching others around him and watching for instruction. He picks up on those things that others may ignore, and then he uses them to improve his theatrical acting ability. Ryder is precise in his movements and leads with a quiet intensity. He makes sure to take what he learns from others and apply them to what he is doing. Ryder makes theatre fun, and I am glad that he is part of our class!
ANNA MAGON has been named the student of the month for SEPTEMBER. Anna exemplifies everything you would want in a theatre student! As a new student, Anna really didn't know anyone coming in to class. She was shy and a bit unsure of everything. It has been a joy to watch her blossom and truly embrace all the aspects of theatre. I have seen her self-confidence soar, and she works very hard to make sure that everyone is part of a team. She trusts the class and has been very creative and observant during our activities. Not only that, but Anna approaches every day with a smile! She is a great addition to the 6th grade theatre class!
