WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 4
TRISTEN FAULS: Tristen was chosen as the Student of the Week for his LEADERSHIP ability and his SELF-MOTIVATION. Tristen worked hard to make sure that the stage was set up correctly between the acts, and because of his hard work and effort, our play went without a hitch. The audience commented on how professionally done the set changes were.

WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 11
SYDNEY DAVIS-GREEN: Sydney was chosen as the Student of the Week for her DEDICATION and for her POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Sydney just finished our exhaustive community play and is very involved in dance, having a recital on Saturday. Despite this busy schedule, Sydney's dedication shows through in her commitment to our Marvin and Jessie show and in her work with our Christmas show. Sydney doesn't complain - she just gets the job done!
SYDNEY DAVIS-GREEN: Sydney was chosen as the Student of the Week for her DEDICATION and for her POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Sydney just finished our exhaustive community play and is very involved in dance, having a recital on Saturday. ZACH TOWNS: Zach was chosen as the Student of the Week for his great CHARACTERIZATION and his GROWTH IN THE CRAFT. Zach took on a large role in the Christmas production and quickly learned all his lines. He played his part wonderfully, making the audience laugh and adding subtle nuances to his character. He was able to step in and help his fellow actors as well to make his play more successful.

MIRABELLE PETER: Mirabelle was chosen as the Student of the Week for her SELF-MOTIVATION and TAKE CHARGE ATTITUDE. While taking on the daunting task of cleaning our green room, Mirabelle never waited until being told what to do - she got right to work. She helped organize props and costumes, and was always asking what else could be done. Our theatre department looks so much better because of her!

ASHTON STEWART: Ashton was chosen as the Student of the Week for his WILLINGNESS TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES and his TEAMWORK. Ashton did a great job in helping to clean the green room. He did whatever was asked of him without complaining, including lifting heavy boxes and furniture. He was busy helping others to complete their jobs and he did it in a positive way, inspiring others to do the same.

MORGAN DEAN: Morgan was chosen as the Student of the Week, for her CHARACTERIZATION and DEDICATION to the program. While looking for our Spring play, Morgan read through the plays with passion and used characterization to show others what the play could look like staged. She was praised by many for her fine reading of a part, and she also looked at the play with an analytical eye, noting all the positives that this play would provide.

While trying out for our play, Alex put his all into each character he read for, making sure to show the director everything he could offer. He wasn't afraid to approach each role with something new and different. His ability to lay it all on the line resulted in a role that Alex will carry out perfectly!

JOE BERRY: Joe was chosen as the Student of the Week for his ability to WORK HARD and his ability to HAVE FUN. Joe brings excitement to everything he does, and he puts his all into his roles. As Elvis, he has entertained us with his ability to never care what anyone else thinks and just go out and give it his all. Joe always has a smile on his face, and he tries very hard to make sure everyone else does, too.

KEELEY SOOTS: Keeley was chosen as the Student of the Week for her CHARACTERIZATION and her WORK ETHIC. Keeley has a great part in our play, and it requires a lot of physical action. Keeley is never afraid to give it her all, and she even wants to add some extra "oomph" to the character. She is always dedicated and hard working. Keeley is part of an after-school program for the elementary, and she makes sure that everything is always set and ready to go. She finds actors, rides, props, and costumes, and keeps everyone organized.

When lines were due, Trinity knew all of her lines and even was able to help others remember theirs'!

She always wants the best for the program, whether that is in her characterization and line memorization, or in getting our set ready. Katie spent a lot of her own time working on making sure our set was painted and designed and ready to go. She's a great representation of what HH Theatre should be all about.

AUTUMN MCCRUM: Autumn was chosen as the Student of the Week for her DISCIPLINE and her ABILITY TO DO WHATEVER IS NEEDED TO MAKE OUR PROGRAM SUCCESSFUL. Autumn is a great role model for theatre students. She does more than what is assigned to her, and is always looking to see what can be done to help our program. While she was not a crew member, she completed numerous crew jobs to make sure we were set to go on Thursday. She also did makeup for Friday. Autumn helped provide many of the set pieces for our play.
